Description
The point of communication between a lightning strike and the protection system is the air termination network, and speedwell taper-pointed air rods are employed in this application. Although they may be utilised with or without multipoint, studies in this area indicate that using multiple points along with taper air rods is more successful than using simply taper air rods. The Taper Pointed Air Rods contain threads that are ideal for fastening into terminal bases, flat saddles, ridge saddles, air rod bases, rod brackets, and air rod couplings on one side and a taper of less than 5 degrees on the other for a flawless taper fit with multipoint.
